233 acrylic spheres; paint; acrylic blades; Neodymium magnets; solenoids; control system; antenna and
receiver. 12m x 4m x 4m
A changing environment in which many elements, seen or unseen, have an effect. These invisible
relationships can be perceived between, and mirrored within, the 233 spheres when a visitor triggers the solenoids and the motions become patterned.
The amount of movement within the field of the spheres is determined partly by the real-time intensity of solar surface activity and partly by numbers of people: When there is sufficient energy, groups of spheres will ‘lock’ into a new orientation.
